Help on Winter Tires
Hi there,
I am just got a 2006 330i with sports and premium package. I am really new to all these. I wonder if members have any suggestion on a good set of winter tires and rims for 2006 330i? Currently, it is on 19" rim summer tires. It runs awesome but I am looking at getting around easier in the winter. Not really looking for performance (you cannot do much anyway for calgary winter), but will love to have my bimmer stick on road and stop when I need to at lights. It will be my first winter with a Rear wheel drive car. I used to drive a 99 civic (front wheel drive). so pretty excited (or nervous) I read some posting about the width of the tires should be narrow so easier to cut snow. Don't really have much experience, I used to always have my 4 seasons on my civic too. so you know how new I am to this game. Any suggestion will help on size, width, (offset??), brand. I am ok with used tires too as soon as it is a good match and serve the purpose. Appreciated!! Thanks! Howard |
