Need advice on refinishing wheels
Hi all,
Ok, I have a question to anyone who knows anything about wheels - more specifically, reconditioning them. I can get the following wheels (click for huge pics): View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com I am looking at 60 bucks per wheel + probably 25ea shipping, so about $340 all in + a bit of time to go pick them up. I can get these semi-locally for about $500. Would anybody have any ideas on what it would cost me to bring these into "street" viewable condition? According to the seller: "The wheels just have tire rubber marks that come right off with a good cleaning."

From what I can see in those photos, those look to be melted rubber on the tires from tracking the wheels. Those can be cleaned with some elbow grease.
If you decide to purchase the wheels, be sure to double check for any bends or cracks on the wheels. -Charles@VMRWheels
