i had 8500 all around and they do not match in any lighting situation. i was very happy with the pair on my fogs though. very bright with a slight blue-ish tint. but the blue doesn't show up on the angels.
ive had 8500 all around (not bright during day/not matching at night), 7000k led angels + 8500k fogs (invisible during the day/badass at dusk), and the brightest setup (day or night) ive had is my current 3300k all around. however you have have to learn to like the yellow look on angels. that being said, im selling both my sets of 8500k gpthunders for $10 each ![]()

Yea I bought 2 sets of 8500s
They look great in the fogs, but alas, the set I had put in my angels was defective.
One angel is bluish white (assume that is how it should be) and another has a turquoise tint. Also what is the difference between V2 and V1 on the 7500 GP Thunders? I'm thinking of possibly getting this defective set (hopefully swapped) for those. I would assume V2 of anything is better, but you know what they say about assuming ![]() Last edited by Dark_Knight_335; 08-05-2010 at 11:10 AM.. |

Don't feel like hosing my lighting warranty completely just yet..
Too drastic of an upgrade. I can replace a bulb easily. If those LED kits fubar, it's a whole other matter.
