Ever since the comparison chart in tunes was released, there has been a lot more interest in the Procede. I think I've gotten over 100 pm saying that it help them decide what tune they will be purchasing. I've been reading other forumns and notice that the tone has been favoring the Procede v4 as well.
I for once haven't had the JB3 installed in my car, but I have to echo what you stated in your review. Everything you said, seems to be spot on the feeling when driving with a Procede tune. Once you think the tune is pretty much done, Shiv seems to surprise us with more features without the cost of extra hardware or modules. He also seems to listen to complaints and customer feedback. I'm glad to have gotten this tune the first time around, as I see more and more people switching over to the Procede v4.

Might be interesting and surprising to create a poll and see how many JB users are jumping ship or have jumped ship and now run a Procede.
The Procede has changed considerably over the last 6 months and the news of its driveability and street performance is out.
Basically light years ahead now with all its features and integration.........well done Shiv

Funnily enough, I agree and that's why I not game to create a poll.

Are you sure that the codes are disappeared because of a better tune or because of the CAN Clear feature from Proceed? It is one thing to not throw a code and completely different if the ECU throws a code and then the Procede clears it immediately after that.

I am not trying to start a war, I am trying to educate myself.

I disable CANclear on my car, I don't like things getting automagically deleted. But I can see where your question would come in.

Thanks

Fwiw, canclear is disabled the moment a "real" code is tripped. It does not auto clear things that would otherwise result in limp modes.

i disable canclear and the o2 sims since i have BT and the BMS dp fix. If I ever have to take my tune out, I'll be SOL with the downpipes and code reading.

I have disabled CANClear as well for the time being. I just want to see what may or may not pop up. In other words, I want to push it some and see if I can generate a tuner code.

And so far, all clear...

Great review yandy!

Being a JB3 user myself,I can certainly appreciate(and relate) to this review.
It's reviews like this, that makes it easy to pick the right tune for your needs.

I'd like to give the procede a shot..

BrianMN-- Nice to have you on board!

Can the Procede reset service reminders and condition-based service indicators like the BT tool?

You can reset service indicators from the stalk on the steering wheel....Do a search for service reset on the DIY threads!
