Question about JB+
If I understand correctly, the JB+ fools the ECU into thinking it is oxygen starved and forcing more air into the plenum, correct? Does that wear on the oxygen sensors or the cats? Doesn't it run too lean, or does the car compensate by boosting the injectors or something? I feel like there's no such thing as a free lunch...

No, nothing like that at all. It fools the ECU in to thinking its making 2-3psi less than it is. The ECU responds by raising boost 2-3psi. The fuel is closed loop, and the timing is closed loop, so the ECU adjusts both as needed. You get the same air/fuel ratio and 1-2 degrees less advance depending on the cars needs.

ohh so if i crank it up to 100% the ECU will think the car is lacking 4.75 psi of boost and it needs more.
btw, can you crank it up all the way to 100 without solenoid bypass on a stock 335i on 93 octane? and will altitude affect it? sorry for thread jack!
