it seems like you drive a 328........I think it would be a good idea to search, you could get a powerbox.

The bad thing about the JB4 is that it's 4 times more expensive than a JB3. Not sure if it's worth the money yet

i have jb3 in a 335xi sedan. i don't have access to a dyno. how do i tell if it's working? the car stock is quick already. so when i switch to map 3, i can't really tell if there's a big difference from stock. is the performance gain 0-60? top end speed?

not trying to hijack thread. i'm sure op would want to know too. thanks in advance.

I don't have a jb3 yet but from what I'v read you should be able to tell the diff straight away so get it checked out make sure its all hooked up correctly. Try setting the map again.

I have a 335xi sedan and have a jb3 installed. I began running map 3 and could tell a significant difference right from the start. The car just pulled so much harder. Then I started to get 93 octane and bumped it up to map 5 and its runs even better. Maybe try reseting it to map 0 and then putting it back in map 3? Or if you have access to 93 octane give map 5 a try.

The difference should be instant. I would set it to map0 and drive around for a few minutes and then go back to map3. Even on map3 the difference is night and day as you're looking at a 50-60 hp/tq increase.

It is Noticeable

Well, While I had my JB3 PnP, you could easily tell the difference.

If you drive a 328 the product that you want to look at is the BMS Powerbox rather than the JB3 as they're intended for different engines. The performance gains will be the same between a coupe or sedan for either product.

If you're worried about hidden codes I would suggest that you also pick up the BT Tool Scanner which will allow for you to scan your vehicle for these codes and delete them prior to bribing the car into the dealership. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all!

Make sure you depress the throttle for a good 9 seconds or so to put it in the "listen mode". And right after you get to the map you want, start the car right away to set it.
