335i waiting list for norcal. is it still that bad?

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone had any information on the waiting list for Norcal guys. is it still a 3 month waiting period if you order now? or do they have some on their lots? i'm talking about the 335i e92's with a stick. any posts are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

bmw of mountain view had zero on the lot today. i'm not sure what allotment looks like if you order right now. but i ordered mine end of january, and it's only being built this week for delivery in late april / early may.

when i did test drive back then, they only had auto trannys for 335i e92's. they did have a stick 335i e90 though that shud be a similar feelign if you just wanna try the manual for the manual's sake.

Garage List
Stevens Creek BMW had 2 E92 automatics as of 3-4 weeks ago...one was red. I am thinking if you are as picky as me..you are gonna have to wait for allocation...order..then wait for 3 months to get the thing. I am getting a sedan..and mine is about ready to dock at Point you know what...down near Ventura.

I would consider Euro Delivery if the wait is that long for dealer allocations. Prices are going to be high with that kind of demand as well.

It's worse, I ordered 12.21.06 and I will probably pick up on 4.05.07 at peter pan. My sales person said he has a long waiting list.

We ordered ours from Roseville BMW and they still currently only have 1 E92 allocation per month. Niello BMW of Sacramento also lacks E92s. we got ours for MSRP and my guess is it will continue to be like that for at least a few more months.

My advice is to call around various bay area and norcal dealerships and find the one that can sell you their next month's allocation.

You might have better luck ordering from SoCal and flying down to pick it up. I walked in to Irvine BMW on Feb 18th and had a production number the next day. Car's estimated to finish production March 15th.

Yep, I live in a high demand area and I know the guys at Peter Pan and I trust they will not tell me one thing and I end up with another, lots of places claimed to have allocations for January or Feb but when you go to get the car things change. At least Peter Pan was honest and said I'd have my car Late March Early April. They had 335 Coupes on the lot at the time, just no free allocations and I wanted a very specific build.

Good Luck

E92s 335 Coupes?? Sitting on a lot? 10 of em'? I'm skeptical.

I bet they were customer cars and outbound or sedans.

Every dealer up here in the NorthWet has nothing. The one dealer shows 2 online, both of which are vaporwear, and one in Oregon shows two as well both of which are spoken for.

Hell my closest dealer has about 15 335 sedans, not a single Coupe.

Not sure why you don't just order one? I ordered from Santa Barbara, CA at the end of february and it's already "en route".
