Nice options, sunroof, xenons, etc, dont be put off by the milegae, mines on 53K & still feels tight,as new, best colour combo too ( same as mine !), altough I had some comments from forum members on mine a few weeks ago as a couple of grand too dear at £22K...commonsense prevailed & I kept it, just upgraded to 19" 225 wheels, looks fab!! - but its all relevant, there are plenty of coupes etc...but if its a 335d tourer you're after you've got to stump up the cash, so IMO your motor looks a fair price......

Billy ray - sounds steep to me.
For comparison mine was £21,250 from Sytners (delivered) with 16,500 miles on it. It's lower spec - SE but has a few similar options - the sunroof, terra leather and some other bits and bobs. No i-drive/nav though (another person that doesn't need it). It was 2.5 years old (56 reg, late November build) but came with a Used Approved Warranty, was Supagarded and delivered from Leicester to Cornwall. They also gave me a great price on my Astra Estate. So probably a few grand less in options but then it was less than a third of the mileage. However 335d Tourings are hard to get hold of at the moment -I'd look at nearer £20k. |

Diesels tourings are holding the price well at thge moment. Is it a dealer car? Sytner in Leicester offered me one like that spec but the mileage put me off as i do 25k a year

Sorry for the delay, just been to see the A team!...
Anyway, will be from a main dealer and does have all of the bits i'm after. However,I have e-mailed them back to say that extras aside,i think that it is overpriced for the mileage. Not really after a 335i,cant put my finger on it,but just like the frugality and torque of the diesel,so I havent thought about anything but the diesel.I like to do the occasional long runs up to Scotland and after trekking around the west coast in my scooby,I needed a second mortgage for the fuel costs!. Glad that there shouldnt be any issues with a mid mileage car,but I guess i'll have to try and knock them down as and when it arrives,or wait for something else(has to be a touring)-I wont hold my breath though! Oh and I only want Le mans blue or space grey... Last edited by Billyray911; 07-29-2010 at 05:38 PM.. |

The car is maybe a bit overpriced but shortage of supply is a big issue. Also it depends on your approach, if say this is your ideal car and the condition is good is it worth say £1000 more to you than the next one that comes along in say 3 months with less extras and perhaps some issues with condition. I generally find I can in my mind justify a bit more cash for something that is more perfect for me, I know financially it doesn't make sense but if you get what you want in the right condition which is nearly the most important aspect for me then heart rules head sometimes so long as it isn't mega overpriced. If it is mega overpriced they will know so and will be finding it hard to sell so make them what you feel is a reasonable offer and see what happens.

Will see what happens when it becomes available.it's a waiting game and I'm in no rush whatsoever. |

Don't ge a 330i just because
of low mileage. get the car you want. The 335d has so much guts it's great.

Well...Ive bought this car.Got it for £21,850,which I think is reasonable-all things considered...
Cant wait to get it,but have got to wait for it to be prepped. Thanks for all of the advice-just expect some more bone questions in the months to come! Also,a big thanks to Anneka for overseeing and smoothing out a few issues-appreciated. Right, just need a dog guard and cover for the rear... |

Nice work. They are rare, especially with so many toys. You could wait a looooong time for another one with Nav, BT, DAB, Xenon, Bum heaters and Pano Roof - all too often one or more is missing.
Good thing I've found about getting a loaded one is that it helps prevent looking at others and thinking "I wish mine had that..." - this helps you keep it longer - i.e. for several years - where depreciation becomes less of an issue. My previous 330d Touring had hardly any toys and I was was forever thinking - "I'd like to get one with X & Y"! Mind, having said that I wish mine had USB for iphone..... Mine nearly has 70k on the clock now and still feels pretty fresh & new - toys over mileage for me everytime. |
