Get the M3 sedan look for just three easy payments of $29.99!!!
Okay, so as soon as I saw the M3 sedan, I fell in love faster than a sex deprived bachelor on a reality tv series. And to be honest, its the front end that makes the sedan worthy of admiration. The sleek lines of the coupe, the TRUE bmw kidney grilles, and no more orange claws in the corners of the headlights!! Unfortunately, universities have a strange tendency to charge tens of thousands of dollars in exchange for a piece of paper with a bunch of signatures on it, so...I can't exactly afford this new M3 sedan. But do I ever want it!!! I figure the compromise between taking out a loan to buy the M3 and keeping my 2006 as is, is a facelift that even Cher could be proud of. Here's the thing though, the coupe's front end doesn't magically fit onto my car!! What gives!?
The following are not pictures of my car. This is where all of the built up hype falls short. I have no idea where to start. I don't know where to order the panels where they don't ask for M3 vin numbers, and for the life of me, I can't find a company that makes front fenders that convert the coupe's headlight/bumper to the sedan's door panel. And that's assuming that I could just buy a coupe's bumper, hood and lights to fit on the existing framework. I'm hoping that I can find these pre-made...I'm not exactly qualified to do bodywork modifications and I want to keep costs relatively low. Has anyone come across such a kit for sale, or can offer any help in finding one? I'm not sure how many other people like that look, but its a favorite of mine. Thanks to anyone who can help make it happen! |

why dont you just buy e90 m3 bumpers and skirts?
you'll never get coupe parts to fit on your sedan. Even if you did, it would be extremely expensive. |

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90333 expensive, yeah. if you've been around here long enough, you know about the famous e90.2. If what the OP really wants is an e90 m3, it might be worth it to save some $ for one instead of spending it on an e90.2 conversion on a 325i. get a hold of long tran and ask him about it. he can probably tell you everything you need and how much. |

And as for the M3 bumpers and skirts...do you think that buying the front and rear fenders, bumpers and hood along with the headlights (for me, they'd need to be the same width front and back) would be more expensive than just the front bumper, hood, custom front fenders and lights? To be honest, I'll just go with the least expensive option, whichever that would be. |
