A/F procede videos
Can someone do me a favor and take some recordings of their A/F ratios while cruising? steady speed, flat road would be best. Id like to compare my A/F ratios . Im not sure how steady it's supposed to be or what range theyre supposed to be around for daily driving.

i understand that but it seems to jump around a lot for a constant throttle. I kinda expected a closed loop system to be more on target and smoother. Just want to confirm that by looking at others to see whats normal .

Id definately like to see some please! Im suspecting that maybe an injector was calibrated wrong or something. The AF goes from 245 then jumps to 270 and back down to 245 under constant throttle. Its a solid pattern and i bet one injector is richer than the others.

he's referring to the afr output the procede is using the oil temp gauge.
I'm assuming you can use the logger to see the actual values?? I'd be hard pressed to have a n54 heavily modded and not have a real logging AFR setup in the car. on my e36 I watch that gauge like a freaking hawk while under boost.

So heres the video of what im talking about.
Its very regular under constant throttle. When i change to 5th gear or 4th gear it moves alot more at the same speed. I feel like the dealer could have improperly calibrated one of the injectors... A few months ago the injectors were replaced and recalibrated. Ill try to run some datalogs. |
