I don't know where this thread got off thinking your battery was $2000.00. I see the value in weight savings, if its at a reasonable price. 165.00 is definitely reasonable. |

I think they went searching around and saw that braille also makes a lithium 9 pound battery for $2000.

We've been using them for quite some time with no evidence of increasing coolant temps during summer months.

I dont' know how the M force design scoops are installed but there is only 1 bolt used for the install on each side.

Mr.5, what intake do you currently have? Still you 'Mr. 5 Intake'?
I currently have DCI. I wouldnt think scoops would do anything for a setup that's not fully closed.

Search on it and you'll see what it's about.

I'm liking where your car is going Mr. 5, I'll have to read up on your past threads to see other stuff you've done.
I had a braille battery in my Mustang for a while. It was the 12 lb carbon fiber model. The car was my DD and the battery worked fine, but as soon as I got my Jeep and let the GT sit for more than 3 days, the battery was dead. Eventually picked up a battery tender for it, which works great. |

Hey guys,
I just thought I would let you know that I've been running this battery for over 3 months and have had absolutely no issues with any starting or running of the car. It worked superb at Laguna Seca as well. www.Mr5racing.com/videos

You dont consider drilling a hole (whether small or big) modifying your car?

No, you are not drilling into the car, only the scoop after lining up with the pre-existing hole on the BMW.

The hole is utilized by a compression pin that is included with the kit to properly hold the scoop under high speeds, this is very simple to install.

It's not required, but recommend for additional rigidity of the charge scoop.
