Pittsburgh / Mt. Washington Real Estate

Hey guys,

It's official, I'm moving up mid june. I'm up here right now and fly back to Texas tomorrow morning. I fell in love with Mt. Washington and the neighborhoods there. Do any of you have recommendations for real estate agents or companies?

Originally, I thought I would just store my car in Houston for a few years incase I come back, but after seeing the beautiful scenery there is no way I'm leaving it in Texas

Would love to meet some of you when I officially get back up here. I've got just about every mod possible and have done it all myself. If any of you need help/advice w/ installs let me know!

Ian

Nice man, congrats!! I'm no help on the real estate side, but Mt. Washington is awesome!! That's where I popped the big question to my girl haha. But definitely lookin forward to meeting you, and if you have any questions about the city don't hesitate to ask. That will be a nice long road trip for the bimmer, and there are some really cool roads to drive just outside the city here too. Let me know if you need anything.

Hey I moved up here from Dallas about a month ago... my stay in Dallas was short (~18 mos) and hated the scenry & straight there... bring your car along... you'd fall in love with it all over again.

Congrats on the move! You will love it here! Are you planning on living directly in the city or maybe on the outsikrts?
If I could rec a place I would say the Wexford area is about 20 minutes away from downtown and a very nice area to live.

I believe you have made the right decision for staying. Most of the people are attracted to buying homes in Washington because of the natural beauty of the place. No matter which city you plan to stay in WA, the distance between the houses and train stations are quite less.
