Correct Gap for 3.0 inline 6 ??

Just a quick question, Does anyone know the recommended spark plug (NGK) GAP for E90 3.0 inline 6 ?? Ive found mixed answers online and Im just looking to clarify with someone who is experienced.

NGK Laser should be gapped to 0.044" while some other spark plugs would be 0.040"
