Repairing Interior Trim for CF wrap
I purchased an interior trim kit that had been removed from car improperly. There are several chips that were made by prying the trim off with a screwdriver.
I'm looking for the best compound to fill the chipped areas so that I can wrap with 3M dinoc CF vinyl. Open to suggestion.... Thanks!! |

probably bondo is your best bet - just sand the area with some heavy grit sandpaper so you good good mechanical adhesion, then fill with body filler and sand out smooth. It is permanent and will hold up for decades, then wrap it and you will never see it!

If you can get your hands on a product called Fusor. We used to use it all the time on NASCAR stock cars. You will want I believe it is product #140. It is a black 2 part that mixes as you squeeze it out. It dries in about 5 minutes and you can sand it
Might help... |

Got to local RC hobby shop and get some regular epoxy and 'Microballoons'
Actually its just powdered glassfibre and when mixed in with epoxy will make a sandable and very thick paste. Use 5min epoxy. |
