Vishnu V3 or JB3 2.0

Need some advice I have the option of getting a Vishnu V3 rev 1, used obviously or a JB3 2.0 latest gen for relatively the same price for my e92. The JB3 will cost $100 more considering I would need the BT tool...

Whats the better buy? I cant afford a V4 Vishnu or I would have just went with that... The ease of the Vishnu is a selling point for me since I dont kno much about tunes. Honestly I want an affordable performance gain without having to worry that I'll mess my car up w/ a tune or the dealer finding out. I just want to put it in and drive the car without worrying about something messing up or not be configured properly.

Is the newer gen JB3 better than a last gen Vishnu?

Excuse my ignorance I dont kno much about tunes... My car is stock and other than an intake and a tune i dont have any plans for performance mods (Im serious about this! lol)

Thanks guys!

Not one of these again. "Search button, use it."

Sorry to be an ass but this is a discussion that happened way too much. And I've only been on the forum for 3-4 months. Find out whats best for you and buy it.

All Jb3 vs Procede threads should be locked/deleted.

You think your the first person to ask about these dumb tunes?

Every thread is the same garbage....

Tuner war, combined with everyones useless opinions.

Secondly, there should be a 50 post minimum before making threads.

You're going to need a BT with the PROcede Rev1 as well. If money is tight my suggestion is to sit tight a bit. BMS will be packaging their CAN tool with the JB3 soon for much less than the JB3/BT package goes for today. And yes anyone who bought their JB3 from an authorized dealer new will be able to grab the new tool for the same price. It's not as powerful as the BT in terms of diagnostics but reads/deletes codes, gives in dash gauge displays, a shift light, etc. Neat little utility.

Thank you man!!! Finally that was the answer I was looking for.... I really appreciate you reading my entire post before flaming me.

From what I read, it should be a better tune than the prior generation procede.

But there are a ton of threads, likely not with this question. But you could probably get a feel for how each performs.

You may be confusing a few things. Quick summary:

1) JB3 firmware updates are always free to download, the latest public release is 7/4 and I know BMS is always playing with things on thatfront.

2) The new JB3 upgrade board (adding CAN, CPS, and lots of other cool advanced stuff for hardcore guys) is due around XMAS time.

3) The CAN tool is a stand alone device used to read/delete codes, auto-delete downpipe/tuner codes, in dash displays like timing, and a shift light, etc. That will be packaged with the JB3 and JB+ like the BT tool is today only at a more attractive price. It doesn't do everything the BT does but for basic needs fits the bill. I don't have the exact pricing yet but historically BMS gives a hefty discount to purchasers of new tunes from either BMS or an authorized reseller such as N54Tuning. So the pricing will likely depend on whether you bought your JB+/JB3 new. I also expect this tool will become VERY popular for flash tune owners as it gives them everything they need all in one. In dash boost gauge, timing gauge, shift light, downpipe fix, and code management.

Some more details on the CAN tool here:
