i am considering painting my mirrors matte black but dont know the first thing about painting i was gunna use spray paint but still want a smoothe finish for cleaning purposes so what do i do?

first you smooth them before paint with wetsand , follow by a ood cleaning so is no dust or any grease on it , primer , base color - all this can be sended for smoothness , go with clear coat and wetsand again , compound, polish , seal , wax...
primer 2 coats , base color 2-3 coats , clear 3 coats.. or something like that.
i am not a painter but i think this are the steps.

ive asked several companies including the one that wrapped my hood vents and they said the curves are very difficult
