335i question
Hello,
I am a new member with a 2007 335i coupe. I would like to change the RFT to a set of Non- RFT tires (235 in front and 265 in the back.) Would this work ? Can I keep my 18" rim ? Would you recommend a modification like this ? Please give me your opinion/ Pros vs. Cons . Thank you for your time. Tony |

Yes, you can fit non-RFT tires, but I'd stick to the OEM size on the 18" wheels.

if you do a little looking 'round the forum, you can find tons of threads on switching from RFT to non-RFT. i'm buying new wheels and tires now, and i've been wading through the threads for a couple weeks now . i think it's fair to say the majority opinion is non-RFTs are preferred, but your driving style, weather, etc. can all factor in.

No problem to run non runflat tires on the same wheels. 265/35R18 is technically outside the recommended rim with range for the OE rear 18X8.5" wheels, however many guys on the forum run that size with no problems.
