Ordering a ProClip for the DROID ... any reason not to ?

Curious if any here can give a good reason not to. I don't want to block vents in the 105+ Texas heat and this puts everything in touch but I have no idea about the quality etc.

that is just about where I put the DROID mount from VZW and I love it there ... hid the charger and aux lines under the center console

ProClip are great products - but - the center mount ones tend to interfere with the passenger seat if you move it to the full forward position. That the reason I bought the one for the vent.

but but but ... i sit in the driver's seat

My dog sits in the passenger seat and she don't mind

The Droid's CarDock feature requires a magnet in the right place to trigger it. That have it?

They sell them with and without the magnet ... same price. I chose without as I have nav and just want a place for the phone instead having wires everywhere.

I have one of these that I'm getting rid of if you're interested. I have an iPhone cradle attached to the base, but let me know if you're interested in the base.

Loved it when I had it in there.

Pro - easy to hide your wires

Con - you have to look wayyy down to see it. I have the Motorola dash-mount so I can see the phone without having to look down.
