yes it would. Had a full aluminum shifter before, would get hella hot. this would better though, since only the top is aluminum. so you can still shift, just put your hand over the it.

Ya I had. Ti. In my STI hot as hell in the summer. This one though looks interesting.

Yeah the leather definitely helps handling it in the summer, but I'd so overall no hotter than the steering wheel.
