I'm assuming that:
A) You're not really in the Faroe Islands B) You have HiFi (if you're outside the US, you might have base Stereo). C) You have a sedan (no 06 E92, right?) D) You are self installing. For $1K: System One
System Two
$2000 System Three
What are you thinking? |

yes i am from faroe islands, my car is imported from us and its a sedan. and i don't trust any shop her to do it, so the plan is to do it myself.
and not sure about if its HiFi or not . guessing it is. that sounds great ![]() and i am more likely to go with system 3.. do you have any good amp in mind ? |

That car should have L7. If yes, no need to upgrade the speakers if using MS-8. Add tweeter to center channel, SWS-8 under seats, VP's trunk enclosure, 4-channel digital amp for the underseats and trunk sub.

OK then you have Hifi. On the bright side, your head unit puts out a flat, balanced signal which is perfect for aftermarket amps or processors. On the other hand, the speakers are just mediocre. Go with VP's suggestion on the Rainbow speakers, for the front, MS-8 processor, Eartquakes under the seats and perhaps a trunk sub. Can't go wrong.

If you're going with an MS-8, it has a built-in 8-channel amp which could drive everything except the sub(s). If not, you should probably get a 6-channel amp - 2 channels for the front separates, 2 for the rear speakers, and 2 for the underseat woofers. If you're going with an additional trunk sub, you would need another mono amp. JL Audio XD is probably your best choice for both applications.

Aren't the MS8 channel kind of weak in watts out
Aren't the MS8 amps kind of weak
More like the head unit IC's on a regular Head unit in watts |
