Recommendations on 8000K D1S bulb

i just ordered the AE HID 8000K kit with matching fogs from ALPINE...and decided i should probably replace the stock D1S bulb to match. does anyone have any recommendations for a good bulb. i believe i saw an Mtech one, does Phillips make one?

I have a pretty long review on the Philips 8500k D1S on the forums. This might help you decidion making process.

hey FBIS...yeah i read your review...actually posted my question in that thread but i think it got lost! do you know if Phillips makes a 8000K bulb? or maybe i should just ask Mike(F1)..

I think they only make the 8500k. Mike is the expert though for sure.

How do the 8k HID angel eyes look in person? It will vary since light distributed through the corona ring won't be quite as the same as if they were in your projectors.

can't actually answer that...as I haven't received them yet. to be honest, i just went off of the feedback on the forum and pics i've seen. unfortunately, i had to settle for these as the OSS ones were out of my price range at this point in time.
