Super Intensive + Micro + ????
Yesterday i did a full detail to my car with my new goodies.
Adams Soap W/ Foam Cannon Adams Spray Detail + Clay Super Intensive Micro Polish Porter Cable 7272 Lusso Oro Two Coats now don't get me wrong it made the car look amazing but close up i still seen very minor swirls and just wanted to know how to get rid of those little swirls it really bother's me my wife said i'm crazy but you know how we are.. my question is what do you recommend for the minor's swirls after the process i did? |

Don't take this as me coming down on you. Just take it for what it's worth.
Having the professional gear and doing what others tell you to online does not equate to a professional job. It takes a lot of experience to get a true swirl free finish that's not just filler. You need to keep at it and try different pad and polish combos and methods. |

Sounds like you need another step in there. If you're using the Menzerna SIP, you'll likely need a light polish prior to using a finishing polish.
Basically if you're seeing more of a fine haze rather than swirls, it's because the last polish you used isn't able to take out the marring that SIP put into the finish. On the flip side, if you're seeing swirls and scratches that just didn't come out all the way, you may need to go over things with SIP again. Its not uncommon to need multiple passes with a heavy polish/compound if the car's finish has never been polished out before. what speed?
what pressure? what pads? any pictures, I would agree with Mutt it could be how your finishing or it could be you didn't cut enough. don't be discourage it does take a ton of time to master this. |
