Speaking of Beverly Hills BMW :
They never responded to my request for a on-line quote for my E92 with exact options I wanted. I just kept receiving an e-mail from a different salesman every other day saying they have received my request and are working on it and I should hear back from them soon. They never forwarded me a quote and never responded to my request to talk directly to their on-line sales manager. I ordered my car through Center BMW in Sherman Oaks and dealt with their on-line sales manger directly from day one. For about a year or so after I received my car, I still got e-mails every few weeks from various managers at Beverly Hills BMW thanking me for purchasing my car from them and for being a loyal customer. Talk about a F'd up sales management crew ...but they don't need to be responsive and competitive because of who they are and where they are located. |

I actually had a pretty good experience at SMBMW....
Though I did 99% of everything over email/phone so didn't even go in there until I needed to sign the paperwork the day I picked up my car. I highly recommend going this route the next time you buy. Much less of a PITA. |

Santa Barbara BMW, however, is a different story. Once I arrived they wrote my service info up and had me out the door in a loaner in 5 minutes. They were very efficient, friendly, etc. My loaner was a nice, clean 328i that drove like new. The only down side to SB BMW is that their service department is closed on Saturdays. |

In Seoul, the local bmw dealership would pick up my mother-in-law's e60 530i from her home, complete the service, then drop it off. I'm sure they don't do it for everyone, just their best customers.
So it looks like japan does have the best service. No man-love happy ending service for us in Korea. |
