My Blackberry died
I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 right now, but it kicked the bucket today. Any advice on either the Iphone 4g or the Blackberry bold?

Torch is a sweet phone. If you're OK with AT&T go with the torch IMHO.
I'm waiting for something similar to come out for verizon. Maybe the flamethrower or whatever shit they call it. |

Yeah Unfortunately my phone has no screen today. My original plan was to wait for the torch. But I think I may be going the way of the iPhone, we will see. My only fear with the torch is that it may simply be too fragile for me.
By the way man that is one sick looking e92! What rims are those? |

You are a Canadian, and I am a Canadian.
But I have to advise on getting the iPhone 4. It is simply a better smart phone.

Neither!
I've had a few Blackberries over the last couple years as well as an iPhone 3gs for work. My Tour started crapping out recently and the Evo caught my eye. I wouldn't have considered loosing my QWERTY if I hadn't used the iphone and liked the screen keyboard. I've had the Evo for a couple weeks now and I couldn't be happier. Android now does everything BB and iphone can do and some of it better. I got tired of how restricted the BB software was and iphone OS is not much better. There's a learning curve to Android but it's well worth it. With the newest version, Froyo, it's super stable and crazy fast. If you don't want to switch to Sprint for the Evo there are good Android phones on ATT. Try some out before you just buy another BB or the popular iphone. |

If its for REAL work, get another BB. Nothing beats em (touch keypads suck on just about everything I have seen). Mail from anywhere instantly with no apps to buy FTW. At notime am I out of connectivity.
I don't watch vids on a phone anyway. Got a minimum of about 8 PCs at three different locations I can watch vids on.

Get a droid, such as the HTC Incredible, Droid X of Droid 2 if you are on Verizon. I switched out of blackberry and couldn't be happier! Brtw if you look at the reviews for the Torch they are very underwhelming. Although it generally agreed as being the best phone made by Blackberry, it still severely underperforms current droids and iphone4.

so far my Torch has been great and its a big step up from OS5 for sure. games and apps lack for the platform but i really don't care. The few apps i use do work fine and the new webkit browser helps out tons! MY ipod touch has the games and apps. i dont need to be playing fragger or angry birds for 30mins and then "torch" my phone battery to 50%
you cant hate the device until you use it. Im an apple fan boy but sold my iphone about 4 months after i got it

I came from 3 generations of blackberries and went to the iphone4. I'm never going back to Blackberry ever again.

Thanks for the Advice guys, I ended up getting the iPhone 4. Have had blackberries since 2004 and was honestly disappointed in my last curve, it just didn't work well after 6 months or so. I'm hopeful that the iPhone works well for a while. I'm no longer in the workforce full time so hammering out long e-mails isn't a major priority anymore. The only thing I want from e-mail on my phone is to know if my class got moved to another building and mundane stuff like that, so touchscreen is great. plus it's more fun to play with than a bb.

Thank you, Kind Sir : OEM Style 190 upgrade performance wheels on Toyo Proxies TR1 tires lowered on H&R Sport Springs[/QUOTE]
I looked at those rims for our 335i, settled on the regular 19" ones cause they look like propellers coming at you, lol... I wish I could lower either one of the bimmers but you need a bit more ground clearance up here... I may lower the 1er anyway. |
