Sorry to get OT but....How about my Can-bus wiring harness upgrade Shiv? Sorry to blast this on here but I am sure you have a million PM's and little time to read them all. I "purchased" this little upgrade over 2 weeks ago via paypal as requested and have received no feedback whatsoever from anyone at Vishnu Tuning.....bad bidness....
And before the vultures come flying in: I LOVE MY PRocede Rev. II, I just want my Can-bus upgrade....'nuff said

No I am not calling and leaving a message. The fastest responses to anything seem to come from this forum. What vendor you know receives payment and needs to be called/emailed to receive a service/product? I did that the first time just to get INFO that I needed a CanBus upgrade harness. Was told to send payment...blah-zay, blah-zay....did all of that...and no product. Soooooo.....hopefully this gets a response. We will see.....

BTW I already know where to get the "phone number" and "email" from.....and calling or emailing would be the logical first step...i am not a 'tard.....

Interesting. In your own words:

"calling or emailing would be the logical first step...i am not a 'tard"

and

"No I am not calling and leaving a message"

There have been plenty of times for me, where I have had to follow up on orders from various places.

On my order reciepts from Vishnu:

For additional information, please contact sales@vishnuperformance.com or (925) 924-9800

Good luck. I have seen both major piggyback tuners stress to bring issues to them directly and not on the forums. This is about technical issues, but I would think it pertains to sales as well:

Doing this will get your problem solved faster than trying to get us to solve your problem through the forum. If you do choose to go through the forum for tech support, that is certainly your prerogative. But in doing so, you are making it harder for us and, in turn, for you

And from Terry at BMS: "Just another reminder that support request threads will be deleted without being read. If you want support, follow the directions above." (To contact them directly)

Please just call. I've been on the road and out of town for 7 of the last 8 days. PMs are pretty much useless at this point.

Try posting on the other site about a troubleshooting issue. After they bitch slap you three ways to sunday, they'll just delete your post.

Interesting...thank you for policing the site and telling me things I already know...if you reread the post you will see that I called initially and was told to send the payment (via paypal) which was done...Last time I called it was a few days before they got back with me....when you post a quick question here the response has been faster...so I decided to try that...I have been around the forums (1addicts) for a while and am well aware of where to find the Vishnu forum, emails, and phone numbers...thank you

Yes I am aware that he gets thousands of PM's so that is why if you post a quick blurb here you get a response...it is not bashing him or anything just a question for an update. Now if I started a tuner war then well I expect you to let me have it...LOL

New User Question

I'm planning to order a Procede next week from the local tuner shop.
I am not a tuner guy but am interested in the possibilities.
My questions are:
I don't have an oil cooler, but it appears your software protects against that?
Does the unit come preprogrammed with maps for increasing power. . . .I'm not too interested in "custom" tuning. .
What kind of power increase can i expect with your package. .the intake and the Procede?

Thanks. .

I read this thread cover to cover. Shiv, you are the man. As an engineer, I really appreciate your attention to detail and your scientific approach. This afternoon I was on the fence about which piggyback I would purchase. Now I know that when the time comes, it will be the PROcede. Boom.

Zooommmmbiiieee thread

It is great info. Some of this stuff should be stickied in a PROcede folder. Same with important BMS, GIAC, etc. threads.
