Hey Guys,
Got my BMS FSD kit in the other day and wanted to do a write up about my experience with it. I know that for someone who has never dealt with methanol systems the whole thing can take a little bit of time to recognize all the parts in the kit and what they do/ where they go. I have included some pictures for people who are thinking of getting the kit but are a little bit wary of the install. It is VERY easy to install once you get everything figured out. So here we go. Picture number one is all the little pieces I got in the kit. I wrote descriptions for them which will help you out. I also have pictures of where I connected these parts for a "before and after".

***Watch out for two new Helix products that came about during this install. One will be the Helix Meth Elbow which will be out very soon and the other will be a meth pump bracket to place your pump in a better position****

Now for the beginning of the Install. This is the Solenoid. Like I said in Picture one, screw both quick connectors into this solenoid. Insert the 90 degree elbow into the IN side of the Pump. Mine had an arrow facing the middle of the pump to mark IN and another arrow leading out of the pump marking OUT. Cut an inch or so of tubing to connect the 90 degree elbow to the solenoids IN side

Here is Picture number 4. This is where you cut the WW tube and insert the T. My recommendation is to cut about 1.5 inches off so the WW tube stays straight. Air was getting into my lines from this spot so I zip-tied it. In Picture number 6 you can see the Helix Meth Elbow. The Bung will be placed a little bit more towards the center and you can have one or two bung put on. Kit will come with elbow, silicone and clamps. (price expected to be under 100$)

Now here may look a bit different to yours. I didn't like how the pump sat with the bracket that was sent from BMS so I fashioned my own to make it sit upright and have it be a little bit less noticeable. I will be selling a bracket for this configuration soon so stay tuned and let me know if you are interested in it. I tried to make this install as CLEAN as possible as I dont like tubes and wires and all that showing. From here you can see the nozzle is in the meth elbow followed by the female to female connector which has another quick connect screwed into that. I have about 5-6 inches of tubing from the quick connect to the solenoid so that there were no kinks in the line. I soldered all my power and ground wires so that there would be nothing coming undone. You can see my ground connection on the bottom right of the last picture (Same place is says to Install it in Terry's instructions). Here is the final product.
