Peak Boost?!?!?

I just installed a boost gauge and after the install it lead me to think what should I be boosting at?

I know stock is around 8.5 PSI, am I right? Well obviously my car is modded so am wondering what I should be boosting with my current mods, which are:

-Ultimate Racing 2.5 downpipes
-Stett Cold Air Intake
-Forge DV (Yellow Spring)
-JB3 Map 3

Acoording to my boost Gauge when I set the JB3 on map 0 am boosting around 9-10 PSI, when set to JB3 on map 3 it reads between 10-11 PSI.

The car feels so much faster on map 3, but am wondering why the boost range is so close together....

just curious, don't want to worry over nothing.

Map 3 does not change the max boost a lot, but the average boost vs. rpm is increased substantially, which results in better performances.

Your DV spring might be taking part in your boost.

However 11-12 psi sounds about normal for map 3 I think.

Jb3 log and send to Terry if you feel there is a problem.

He doesn't have an intercooler. Shouldn't go above map 5 without one.

I know a good amount of people running map 7 on stock cars and they run perfect.Im running map 7 with filters and intercooler and also runs perfect. You just have to use 93 octane fuel.
