Extended Warranty

So today I spent a couple hours and called around to the dealerships in San Francisco and East Bay. A few still have not responded to my phone calls, but my warranty expires on 9/30/2009 and therefor I need to make a decision ASAP.

From the sounds of it, Total Care through Easy Care sounds like a good deal, but I can't seem to find the company's website. Which to me, is not a good sign. Then again, I've tried to find information on United Auto Care without much luck.

What do you guys think?

www.EasyCare.com is the website. I am thinking of getting Total Care too, but there are mixed reviews.

To follow up, I got the Total Care policy from Steven Creek BMW for 8 Years (4 years over the standard warranty) / 75K. I have yet to use this, but will soon need to.

Am looking into buying EW myself. Is there a reason why you end up buying Total Care but not BMW EW? And who was your contact at the dealer and how much did you pay (if you don't mind sharing)?

On a side note, I bought my car 3 months ago from there and the finance mgr quoted me $4450 for BMW 7/70k EW during the paper work process. I was thinking 'are you f'ing serious?' and politely declined...

Did you miss the attachment in my original post?

Dealers will always try to screw you, and anything from them is generally overpriced.

No I saw the attachment and it was really helpful, but that did not tell me if you actually paid the same amount of $ as described in the spreadsheet. What I really wanna know is the 'bottom line' pricing (what you actually paid earlier).

Sorry for the late reply, if I understand your chart correctly, the BMW warranty does not cover the audio system or nav?
