Mac formatted iPod with 6FL

In one of the 6FL threads I found a reference to Mac formatted iPods being incompatible. I have done a search and could not find confirmation.

I couldn't find an explanation of how the 6FL navigates the iPod directory without iDrive. Is there a thread or article which explains this?

Thanks

You need an adaptercable for Ipods.

It appears that it's only a problem if you attempt to use the USB Harddrive mode on the iPod with the standard iPod USB cable. Using the special BMW iPod adapter cable should be OK.
