Only you can answer that question - especially since you say that there are no problems with the car.

So, is it worth $8k to drive the car for a year? That is the question you need to ask yourself.

Oh - and BMW might retract that offer once they've seen your post here.

I don't think that sounds fair but you have to decide that for yourself.
To me that sounds like the typical negotiation crap you'd get if you were just trading it in.

If your car isn't currently having problems why do you want to get rid of it? I have a feeling the issues will come back though... at least from the similar problems I've seen.

I would check your state lemon laws and see if you qualify before agreeing to BMW's offer.
