6 cyl tail pipes

Has anyone ever changed the standard pipe covers on a 6 cyl for chrome
Ones? I have a set from my previous e90 325i. They look better than the dull metal ones on the car.But I can't see how to get the old
Ones off.

pull them very hard... - you might need to use pliers.

Yeah I could do that but would I be able to put the
Back on If I don't like the chrome ones?

yes, why wouldn't you?

I'd grip at the bottom so any mark you make will be less visible but they just need a good tug.

Thanks for the help managed to get them off an put the new ones on but the cut of the pipe is different, :-(

Thanks for your help, they do fit but as i said before the exhaust pipe must be cut at more of an angle than on the 325i e90. I will leave them on for now and get better pics with a better camera the iphone camera's not the best.

They look much better from the side profile of the car.

satin black tail pipes is where its at!! Chrome pipes are so 2009!

Simple! Dress the metal tailpipes down so the fit is 100%
