Jp335 car is superb indeed. I have seen it at the DC PROcede Saturday. When I got my own 335, the choices were:

1) Get it the same day with all the options I wanted in Titanium Silver,
2) Order it with the same options in jp335’s color and wait, wait, wait…

Nice independent test and validation of the results we have been getting from the dyno day tests. PROcede = +50 bhp and +90 ft/lbs torque. The power at low revs (1 - 2k) seems diminished, but when it comes on, wow!

Thanks WillyB... I was in the same boat, get this one same day or wait months for an alpine white w/ nav... I'm so impatient.

An AT's drivetrain loss will be reduced when the torque converter locks. The newer sport package AT in the 3er locks up the converter in most every condition and improves its efficiciency. Before the Mercury Marauder came out, I witness one on the dyno being tested by a Ford engineer and the vehicle gained 22 whp by simply locking the TC. Ford did not ship the cars that way, because the TC isn't strong enough to hold up to a constant lock and will eventually lead to a ballooned TC. The Marauder's AT normally only locked under steady state cruising and unlocked when accelerating.

Hi, no power has been lost at any RPM. The difference at the very beginning of the run has to do with how and when the throttle was fully opened once the test was started.

Actually a slipping converter will generate more heat and result in potential ballooning. A locking converter increases efficiency, reduces heat build up, and helps with gas mileage. Ballooning is a bigger issue when excessively loading the converter, such as stalling it against the brakes for extended periods of time.
