New guy here... hey all

Well after driving an Acura TL and an Infiniti G35xS, i finally went the way I should have 2 cars ago... 2010 335i M/Sport package + other stuff. I have got to say, I now see what all the hype is about Bimmers! Solid car, smooth ride, awesome acceleration and wicked handling make them top notch. I don't think I have stopped smiling since driving home lastnight

Anyways, just wanted to drop in and say hi... looking forward to meeting some of the PNW guys in the future. Here is a couple of pictures of my sexy vixen...

congrats and welcome. nice color choice (my 1st choice) - my wife always chooses black and every car we have is black (sometimes boring).

a few months ago, there was a group buy for tints @ seattle accutint, NOT bellevue accutint. as far as I'm aware, that's still THE place to get it done. Ask Johnny Lin about it. I'm sure he'll drop a message on this thread sometime this weekend. He's the resident expert and mayor. =]

I have always wanted the silver... hides dirt and dings perfectly! Thanks for the tip on the Accutint. I will check them out and see if Johnny posts anything else.

Mr Tint and Sun or Metropolitan detail for tint. Had bad experience with Accutint, all the windows that were tinted are messed up.

Metropolitan Detail all the way. Their work is absolutely top notch.

Yeah, nice balance of luxury / power!!

After owning 10 cars or so..I will say trips in the BMW don't wear you out + the Great Mpg. ( coming from WRX/STI ) I would never see over 23mpg, last trip I saw 28mpg avg. 70-80mph too!

Accutint charges ALOt for tint. I go to a local guy in kent (extreme car audio and tint) ask for JAY and tell him Derrick sent you. you will be a price probably half as much as accutint.
