Steering wheel shimmy
I put the summer wheels back on and I'm experiencing a minor shimmy in the steering wheel. It happens just at speeds around 60, and it's only occasionally, it will go on and off on the same stretch of road. At first, I thought it was time to rebalance them, but since it happens occasionally, and the car doesn't really vibrate, I thought it just could be me feeling the road.
Any thoughts?

Are you running the same size all around? If so, are you putting the summer tires back at their positions, i.e. the fronts are being put back in front, etc...? If you are running the same size all around and are rotating them, the shimmy may be from the wear pattern of the tread.
If not, check your lugbolts. Danny
