General question about the product. When new versions and releases are out, do I need to buy a new unit or just upload a new firmware or something via laptop? I am very interested in this, but don't want to buy a new unit every time a new version comes out with better features. I'm a noobee so please be nice.

There has not been a new Procede unit since early 2009. Has only been firmware/software upgrades since then, and we have added alot of features without any changes to hardware.
