Gary @ Tirerack - what are your thoughts on the Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 vs. the Michelin X-Ice X12? Thanks - Chris

Here's mine winter set up: Bridgestone Blizzak LM60 RFT 225/40/18F 255/40/18R We get plenty of snow in the Chicagoland area, and I haven't had a singe problem with this set up last winter. I highly recommend these tires.

I'd expect better deep snow traction on the Xice and better dry grip as well. Packed snow, ice traction and softer ride with the WS60. Keep in mind that the WS60 was replaced in many sizes this year by the new WS70, which Bridgestone claims is an improvement over the WS60 in dry handling as well as snow, ice traction and wear.

Gary: Since i'm new to the forum, i couldn't send PM, but I'm driving E92 328i w/ sport package and in new england, so i've decided to get a dedicated winter set. I read your recommendations and would like to buy a set sometime in late october.

i know i can order the set online, but i wanted to make sure everything fits and etc, so would i have to give you a call?

thanks and my apologies for hijacking the thread.
