I read about that yesterday. Its pretty interesting. I hope im around for when they find life on other planets.
The article I read said that it was 120 TRILLION miles away and would take decades for us to get there...although, danniexi is on to something i think. |

it's funny how humans tend to give human characteristics to outer space life. fact is, you have no clue what they could be. for all we know the lifeform on a distant planet could be an organism the size of a grain of sand that is immortal. we will never know until we know.

This has been discussed in the news here a bit, and they keep saying that the planet is in the "life-belt" or that only planets like ours can support life. It's just as likely that there are many types of "life" incompatible to ours and that discovery could be the end of us or them.
