Run flats cannot be repaired, even if they can technically good luck finding a shop that will do it i went to 8 shops and none of them would do it. Finnialy after bitching the dealer out im getting a free damn tire. But yea that answerers your questions i hope, insurance is defnality worth it.

I am getting I forged wheels, and thus new tires as well, so I e-mailed my CA because I paid for wheel insurance and wanted to find out if I could get my money back since I'm going aftermarket...Well he said that as long as your warranty is still good, it doesn't matter what wheels are on the car, THEY ARE COVERED. Not sure if it is up to the dealership, but this is what he told me.

Cost me $399.00 + tax for my 3 yr lease. Considering the cost of a tire/ wheel combo, and the damage that a pothole can do, I wouldn't be without!
