What solves turbo lag?

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I got my DME upgraded for Jan build date 2008 335. I got told that new software has wastegate conversion operation fix in it. The car feels somewhat slow still and lag is more noticeable. Kind of like now I feel the power build up. Report indicates 0013950100 N54 DME Reprogram B13 09 10 recall

what aftermarket options are available to rectify this? I don't need too much hp, I just want a safe tune that is reliable and can make the responsiveness sharper in lower rpm range. What are the options and prices? with perceived reliabilities.

Let's hear the experts.
Thanks

You need the new-er SW update - geared for performance and not to cover up wastegate rattles or engine ticking noises.

You will need to talk to your dealer or regional sermance manager from BMW NA.

Which version do you recommend? I am not very knowledgeable on what versions are recommended for performance.

I do not know which version is best for performance minded driver. I have heard that BMW NA has three versions of the SW depending on what the driver is compaining about.

here is a link to what one of our fellow 135i guys has for lag issue.

If I install Dinan flash would it undo the hpfp fixes done by the latest DME programming?
