DE advice (oil temps)

I am doing my 2nd DE tomorrow/sunday

The last one went well except for my oil temps sucked (0w-40 RP) although it was 95f (not track temp either).

Tomorrow it will start at 55F and get as high as 72F so it will be better and I am trying a new oil (5w-40 disel truck oil) and my meth will be working (just got 15 gallons ).

I would like to run map7 again or is something lower necessiary to keep my oil temps under control.

Any other tips?

Does running the heater really help?

Yes, it definitely helps the water temp. You can also try Water Wetter, which supposedly also helps water temp.

I already have water wetter in

Results:

With the new oil and map7 (with 100% meth, m10) temps didnt go above 275
With new oil and map3 (same setup) temps didnt go above 255!!!!!!

Great day and with map3 I was faster than my friends GT-R (to be fair he had general's for tires)

What brand of oil are you using? I've heard good stuff about Redline, Motul, and AMSoil. Why did you choose to go with the diesel truck oil? Can you refresh my memory on the use of water wetter?

I used to hit 300...then I would do a cool lap..and go in for the session. Very annoying.
