Tire Pressure Idiot Light
I looked through the first few pages of this forum and did not see anything on resetting this indicator. I had a tire with a slow leak and left this light on for a while until I got new tires on the rear. Now that the new tires are on, I've tried resetting the flat tire warning light. I've used both a code restter and the dashboard computer. The weird thing is that when the engine is off and the battery is on, my "Check Control" reads "Check OK." However, when the engine is on, I get the flat tire indicator. When I rest the indicator with the engine off, I got "CC ID 63." Any ideas?

Are you resetting the TPM with the engine idling & the car stopped as it says in the manual? On my '07, this method works and the actual reset occurs soon after you then start driving.

Mine came on yesterday due to the temp change and I had to reset it. The yellow light doesn't go off until you start driving. |

If I remember correctly, the check mark shows up and then the little clock ticker animates and then disappears and the 'Clock and Mileage' display comes back up, the yellow light was still on. I drove about 2 miles and then it went away. |
