How do I program the 8 Favourites Buttons?

Hi all,

I have recently upgraded from a 2007 Hyundai Excel Hatch to a 2008 E92 325i. Yes, I know, big change!

I am slowly getting my head around the the gadgetry (though power windows is enough to get my excited) but I still cannot figure out how to program the 8 favourites buttons that sit in a row along the dash below where the nav disk is inserted.

I have been told that you can program these buttons to navigate home, call people, etc, but how do you do it??

Cheers,
Jench

Do you have iDrive or no?

If you do, use the controller to get where you want, and then press and hold the button to save that specific task.

I imagine this is the same if you don't have iDrive, but I'm not certain.

Hope this is right:

Whatever you want to save it as, you use the idrive controller to highlight (Phonebook Mum for example) then you hold the number down for a few seconds, should make a sound and save.

Thats how i do it, but we may have diffrent systems

Hope this helped

You have 8 in Australia?! We only have 6 here in US (unless you count the 2 on the steering wheel that used to be programable)
