Question for those who rolled their fenders

now i felt under my fender and i noticed thats theres alittle tiny part thats flat and then goes into a diagonal part of metal. When rolling the fender do you just roll the diaganol part only to make it straight up, or do you roll both the flat part and the diaganol part up?

Sorry if thats confusing

I will try to see if later on today I can take a pic of our 335 and the fenders rolled. I wont be in the office till late but Ill do my best. Usually you will find only the upper part is rolled back and then towards the bottom part is wont be. Thats the part that most people are talking about having to shave.

Im not lookin to get into all the shaving the fenders. Im just lookin to roll them enough so i dont rub with a full car thats all.

I have bought my own fender roller and have rolled my own fenders as well as several other S2K's and never had any issues. You need to either use a heat gun or a hair dryer and heat the inside of your fender until it is hot to the touch and then VERY slowly roll the fender. After a few rolls, you can slowly turn the arm and make the roller apply more pressure onto the fender. While you roll, continue to heat the fender so that it is hot to the touch. Everyone makes a big deal over rolling your fenders (i'm not sure if they have ever actually done it), but in reality its very easy to do and takes around 30 minutes per wheel if you are anal like me and take your time to do things. The basic idea behind fender rolling is not only to give you a few more MM of clearance, but it is so that IF you do rub in the future you won't end up mangling your fender and/or shredding up your tire because the lip will now be bent into a "U" shape onto itself inside the fender where it can no longer be pulled out or cut up your tire.

+1 - shaving/grinding the inner portion of the fender is going to be the best if you have someone that knows what they are doing (key)...
