JPSlick Detailed: 2009 Mercedes Benz S550
Hey Guys...
So I've been detailing on the side here n' there for a while. Ok, so I dont like to get too crazy with the pictures and I dont like to exaggerate how bad the car really is. In reality the car is kept very clean all around. Unfortunately, do to improper washing and drying techniques it was starting to get some swirls and the owner wanted some protection for the winter as well. For the price and time constraints I limited the correction to a one step polish, I was pleased with the results all things considered. The owner was pleased as well, not knowing much about detailing, he didnt even realize what swirl marks were until they were gone! Pic right after cleaning; not too bad until we get a little closer.... Swirls Swirls More Swirls ************************ Tried to capture some afters with the sun going away and my Droid not being the best camera So much reflection! So much Sun glare (Yes that is a clear bra you see) Again, the goal wasnt 100% but more of a quick pick me up, all around I was pleased with the results in the sun for a one step. Clean Clay PC 7424XP (Speeds 3 to Start, Ramping to 5 or 6 depending on area, finishing down to 3.5) Lake Country White Pad Poorboys Polish SSR1 Light Swirl Remover (Speed 4-5 Generally) Lake Country Black Pad BlackFire Wet Diamond Sealant + Optimum Spray Wax Thanks for looking. |
