335is Wheels?

What wheels are available on the 335is? The only optional wheels I see on BMWUSA.com are over $4000! Aren't there any "normal" optional wheels (i.e., non-$4k wheels)?

193m are the stock rim on 335i sedan and coupe/convertible with M-sport. I think the optional on these cars are still the 230 rims.

on the 335is, the current rim is 18" 313 only. No factory upgradeable 19" wheels. With the 225m no longer available, I don't see why they don't allow the 19" 313 Performance wheels as the option.

Agreed. I thought that was strange as well. The iS should've come in 19s IMO.

I was able to get 19" 313M wheels as a $1000 upgrade for my 335is because my dealer canceled my request for the 19" 225M wheels when they were no longer available. I thought larger 313s were available for everyone...

Racerunderthesun,

Really, How did you get them to do that. I am trying to order one from a place that cannot place any orders with dealer installed options. If this can be done from the factory it would be GREAT. Do you have any more insight? Was this a hookup or something?

Crevier BMW in So California had like 10 335is cars in stock... half had the 225s, the other half the 313 19in. They so happen to have the package I liked so I got it... it was a $1000 option (great deal because they are like 4K separately). I don't think it was dealer-installed because I initially wanted them to place some 313s on a crimson red 335is and they said they could not do that...

Nice. I got the first coupe 335is that came into Crevier off the boats. This was before 313 19" were a factory option.

You have a bunch of choices that are available in terms of aftermarket wheels for your car. Remember, wheel fitments didn't not change from the pre-lci and lci E92!

I would think it has to do with the price diff between the 19" 313 and 225m. The 19" 313s are forged while the 18" 313 & 19" 225 are not.
