Time from VCP?

Hey everyone, I wanted to see about how long it took from arriving in NJ to actually having you butt in it. My car arrived on Thursday to NJ, so I'm assuming the middle of this next week?
One more thing, my wife thinks that a leather bra on a AW 335i will look good. I think it looks cheesy, anyone have any experience? I don't think either of us have actually seen one, so pics or links would be cool. TYVM

Leather bras look terrible on any car IMO, but that's not why I wouldn't recommend one. They're actually bad for the paint, as any dirt that gets between the bra and the car will end up being ground into the paint from the bra moving due to wind. I would instead recommend a clear bra, they're virtually invisible and will protect your front end just as well.

my 07 was at the dealer 24 hours after the ship docked.
unless the vpc is backlogged or there was transport damage that needs to be repaired, it shouldnt take too long to get from the port in NJ to any dealer in the metro NYC area

I didn't know they were bad for the paint as well. I figured they would just leave a line from sun wear. Good ammo for my side, thanks!

You should consider the 3m or oem clear bra. It will protect your car from road pebbles. Inquire it at the dealer. They can put it on for you. If you travel on the expressway alot, I would highly recommend it. This will protect you from having any rock chips. I regret on not getting mine! ***PLEASE DON'T PUT ON THE LEATHER BRA*** It defeats the purpose of having a hot looking 335i.
