I decided that i like the aggresive look of black grilles on a black car and looked around at prices. however, i thought id have a go at wrapping the chrome in matt black vinyl. I used banner grade vinyl and a heat gun. it was abit of a fiddle to get the chrome trim off the black insert but i got there in the end. The finished article is neat and personaly i dont think anyone looking would be able to tell its a diy job. This pic was taken thismorning and the car still had ice on it.
