I'd like to know the answer to this myself, even though I don't have the Nav but will be getting it on my next Bimmer.
Surely someone here with the Nav system can answer this for you. |

I'm not sitting in my car, but I think it's something like this.
Go to Nav. On the top bar arrow to the right to the address book. In the address book say add new address. There should be an option to use the current location as the address. If this doesn't help, post again, and I'll get into the car with my laptop and type exact instructions.. Pretty much there is an option in the address book that lets you store the current gps location. Let me know if this helps/doesn't help.

Ditto what Josh49 said. Also, I think you can click on a recent find and one of the options is to add it to the address book. I prefer to do the "use current location" though, because then you can tell from the map if the location is off to the right or left of the street. Our stupid nav system doesn't tell you if you just give it the address.

Yep. I would save the location by the GPS coordinates and not the address. Sometime the address puts you up to a block off. Make sure you save by the actual coordinates..

It can be done and the instructions are in the manual. I did it with my house. It's in destination input....map coordinates. I just got my car this week, so I'm no expert. Eventually you get to a choice that says use current location for the destination (obviously you don't want to go there; you ARE there). Read the book or the nav brochure and keep playing..you'll get it in there.
