here is a better pic of what i am talking about:

This is what you got to take out from the high beam slot. Just work around and u should feel something that u can grab on too, its a plastic material, like something you can pull it out. Its a good idea to look at the bulb outside as u are trying to find it..

This is what it looks like when u get it out (Sorry for the blurriness, the cam just wouldn't focus, try like 10 times and same result):

Here is the bulb, just pull the bulb out:

hey i know wat bulb that is
the same bulbs that are in interior lights for e90, i know cuz i changed all mines
looks like ur standard 168 194 1W Wedge Bulb...
u can replace it with a 6 LED, comes in superwhite or in spark blue, as far as one seller on ebay goes i know. but im thinking if u put a LED in that place, the yellow part of LED will be an eyesore in daylight lol.
damn xenon ppl get it soo damn easy
can someone confirm that size?

i went to autozone today and ask one of the guy to help me find the bulb, he looked it up on his comp and he said it was 2825. To make sure, i look at 2825 bulb and on it, it said W5W. We need W5W because it says it on the user manual. And none of the other size had W5W on it. So the bulb has to be 2825. Then i look at Sylvania.com and it also says, parking light: 2825.

so it has to be 2825

regarding my post above
i was saying an LED replacement wud be fine, but that yellow part of LED might be a problem
so i found this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...._promot_widget
maybe an inverted LED wud be better idea, no yellow, and also looks more like a replacement bulb of that sort, cept its blue, maybe they have white? blue might be kinda ricer. iono

Yes, No errors. They are the same bulbs, not LEDs. So they draw the same wattage. As far as how to change them, somebody posted some pictures on top of this threa. Just pull it out and plug the new bulb in.

yes, these will work. but they will standout as a distinct blue bulb in your headlamp. There are some on eBay which have a silver coating on the outside but still give out white light. Look better IMHO...
