CPO financing interest rates

Hi everyone,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a CPO 2007 335i. Just wanted to check from an independent source about some BMW financial services info that I received from the dealer.

I was told that BMW financial offers:
0.9% for 0 - 24 months
2.9% for 25 - 60 months

is that correct?

Also, am I eligible for the $1500 payment credit http://resource.bmwusa.com/Pdf_cf986...46fe635f4.arox

as described in the above document if I use the 2.9% financing?

How does the payment credit work - does the sale price appear to be $1500 less on the invoice than what I should pay or do I just subtract $500 from each of my 1st 3 finance payments?

Thanks for your help in advance!

I'm looking at buying a CPO this weekend myself. The payment credit is UP TO $500 per month waived for the first 3 months. That means BMW keeps earning interest on your balance even though you aren't making payments :-)

It cannot be used in conjunction with the CPO interest rates. The rates you posted are correct from what I have been reading.

You can either take the $1500 no payment credits
Or
The low interest rate
Or
You can take extended maintenance

Pick one.

In that case, why don't you take the $1,500 and finance with PenFed credit union. They can do 2.9% for up to 60 months on new and used cars.

you have to finance with BMW to get any of the three, so you will have to pay 5.9% apr or higher for the maint or the 1500 credit.

If you are financing less than half of the cost of the vehicle, get the free maintenance as that's worth 2k+, if you're financing almost the whole amount, take the 2.9%

The $1,500 credit in my eyes is worthless.

You have to make 3 payments to get the "free" maint then you could refi it at 2.99% and get the best of both worlds.
